Who we are?

logoSpolečenství Romů na Moravě Romano Jekhetaniben pre Morava - The Associaton of the Romanies on Moravia (SRNM) is non governmental organisation founded in 1991 with headquarters in Brno and regional centers all around Moravia (for example Hodonín, Olomouc, Rýmařov, Šternberk, Jesenicko...). has been focusing its activities on the integration of the Roma in various fields of life and reduce their social exclusion. We also support the emancipation of the Roma and dialogue at all levels of society.

The main activities include social work in excluded localities, educational activities for children and youth (leisure activities in the form of regular rings and one-off events, tutoring children, summer camps, etc.) and support for Roma culture through the issuance of a Roma-Czech newspaper Romano hangos and organizing competitions and festivals with multicultural themes (Django Fest - Brno, Romani Gili - Olomouc, competition for young talents Street Sounds), and protection of human rights.
